Did you know sound recognition begins in the womb? Foundations classes are all about exploring and reacting to new sounds, objects, and movements. Plus, parents and caregivers heighten connections with their babies by learning bonding techniques.

What should a baby’s first music class offer?

It is so much more than lullabies and swaying. Educators will also teach families how sound exploration, listening activities, and dances help babies communicate, stimulate eye-tracking skills, and learn to move and coordinate new muscles.

What to expect...

*Listening - Sing it again...babies will experience a variety of songs and rhymes in different ways. Bonus: a parent's singing voice is their favorite!

*Vocal Plays - Your turn! Babies will participate in back-and-forth vocal plays and other parent-child interactions, helping them with early language development.

*Object Exploration - From scarves to shakers, little ones will use all of their senses to explore a variety of safe, engaging props and instruments.

*Bonding Exercises - The best part...parents and caregivers learn bonding techniques through intentional touch, baby exercise, and relaxation activities.

What you'll learn...

*Movement Control - Different movement activities help babies strengthen their core muscles, which increases their sense of balance and control over movements.

*Social Adaptability - Group activities allow babies to experience familiar and unfamiliar social experiences in a safe and secure way.

*Listening and Communication Skills - Listening to music and doing vocal play exercises helps develop a baby’s back-and-forth communication skills.

*Language and Literacy Development - Introducing spoken sounds and rhythms through songs and rhymes helps support language and literacy development.

*Self-Regulation - Associating music with tricky transitions like nap time helps establish calm and encourages self-soothing.

 WINTER/SPRING SESSION 2026

January 5 – May 7

(45 minutes weekly)

When does the semester begin and end?
The Winter/Spring Session begins January 5 and ends May 7.

What does it cost? $25 registration fee to save your spot in class

Your tuition fees can be paid all upfront ($274) or you may choose our payment plan (4 equal payments of $68.50 on the following dates: January 5, February 5, March 5, and April 5. Our system will automatically withdraw your monthly payment if you choose that option when you register.

What is included in the $274 fee: 15 – 45 minute classes once a week from January through May, 4 books, instruments, or props to match our 4 themes during the 15-week session, extra giveaways, access to our Kindermusik app where you have access to all the music we use in class, play games, play instruments, or listen/read our Kindermusik books. Your tuition also includes a Kindermusik t-shirt distributed during the month of March.

Note: Our spring semester tuition is higher because it has more weeks than our fall semester. 

WINTER/SPRING THEMES
 

January Theme: Nursery rhymes endure for a reason. They’re quirky, rhymey, and memorable and are also magical for speech and language development, as they work to “wire” the brain for communication before speech even begins! What bliss to share something with your child that your parents shared with you or better yet, to learn and share for the very first time! Welcome to Mama Goose!

February Theme: A house with a baby is a house full of love (and fun…and toys…and noise!). Peekaboo peeks into the “1, 2, 3, punch” patterns of repetition, anticipation, and surprise. Have fun with vocal play, sensory exploration and learning through play.

March Theme: Chirp! Tweet! Quack! Bluebird, Bluebird  is a sound-rich flight (of fancy) into the sky, where you will explore birds, feathers, and the outdoors.

April Theme: Let’s explore the wonders and sensations of the outdoors! We’ll use our eyes to look all around and our ears to listen to all the sounds we hear. Plus, we’ll touch, smell, move, and play! There is no feast for the senses quite like a Nature Walk!

We offer unlimited makeups for all of our classes. However, we will work with you if there are any unusual circumstances out of your control. We love our families and want all our children to be able to attend every single class.

SUMMER 2026

Age Range: birth to 12 months

Class Structure: 45 minutes each week

Information: Our summer session is designed so that you can take June or July, but many of our families take both because there is no repeated material or themes.

Miss a class? No worries, we have you covered! We offer unlimited makeups ALL summer! Schedule them easily on our website by clicking on "enrolled families" at the top of the homepage then "makeup a class".

Cost per monthly session: Total - $77 $5 registration fee plus $10 deposit for each family paid at registration; your remaining balance is due at the first class ($62). If you decide to take both months, the registration fee is only due once. Your monthly fee includes 4 classes, one class per week for 45 minutes plus digital music and a book or prop that matches our theme for the month.

Busy Days (June) Who says babies have it easy?  These sure are Busy Days–all around town, with errands here and adventures there, and fun and movement ’til the day is done.

Music Makes My Day (July) If you think about it, your day-to-day routine is a lot like a piece of music. Ups, downs, repetitions, patterns, fast parts, slow parts, and lots (and lots) of improvising! Music Makes My Day focuses on daily rituals and parts of the day, and gets you thinking about anticipation, improvisation, singing, instruments, new rituals, and other ways to make your same-old routine fun and musical.
